The Great Angel Digimon

The Great Angel Digimon, or Celestial Digimon, took control over the Digital World after The Legendary Warriors defeated Lucemon. They consist of three mega-level angel digimon: Seraphimon, Ophanimon, and Cherubimon.

Seraphimon

Serpahimon is one of the two human angel digimon. He was given the spirits of Wind and Light. Serpahimon was trapped in a crystal tomb-like prison by Cherubimon. The digidestined freed him. In a fight that happened right after he was freed, he was turned back into a digiegg. The digidestined were able to save the egg and escape, thanks to Sorcerymon. Bokomon took care of the egg most of the time. The egg hatched into a Patamon. Bokomon took care of the Patamon.

Ophanimon

Ophanimon is one of the two human angel digimon. She was given the Fire, Thunder, and Ice spirits. She used the D-Tectors to talk to the digidestined. She was trapped in a cage by Cherubimon. The digidestined freed her. She was turned back into a digiegg after she stole back the D-Tectors. She upgraded Takuya's and Koji's D-Tectors, allowing them to spirit evolve to EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon. The egg hatched into Salamon.

Cherubimon

Cherubimon is the only beast angel digimon. He was given the spirits of Earth, Water, Wood, Steel, and Darkness. He wanted new laws and rules for the beast digimon and Lucemon took advantage of his anger. For more information on evil Cherubimon, read the frontier villians page. Cherubimon was defeated by EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurmon. He turned back into vaccine and reverted back to a digiegg. The egg hatched to a Lopmon.
