Adventure



Gennai first appeared to the digidestined in the episode, The Legend of the Digidestined. After he appears, the episode ends, so his main appearance was in the next episode, Departure for a New Continent. This was right after the battle against Devimon. He informes them of the continent of Server where the crests and tags are. He is kind of a digital world guide. He helps the digidestined through their journey. In the episode, The Ultimate Clash, Kari is posessed by a spirit and shows the digidestined what happened in the past. It shows Gennai younger, instead of being an old man. He saved the crests and tags from Piedmon. He is the one who made the digidestined leave at the end of adventure. He appeared on the computer with the chosen digimon and uploaded the digimon on the internet.

Adventure 02



Gennai reappears in Adventure 02, looking like he did in Adventure's The Ultimate Clash. He gave them Azulongmon's power.
