Welcome to Digimon Dynasty

Hypnos

Hypnos is a secret government agency whos purpose is to monitor digital activity and life. The agency is run by Mitsuo Yamaki(pictured above). His two main workers are Riley and Tally. They learned of digital lifeforms Bio-Emerging to Earth. They called the lifeforms, "Wild Ones." The Wild Ones are of course actually digimon. Hypnos's goal is to prevent this from happening in an attempt to protect the safety of humans. In the event that a digimon does Bio-Emerge, they try to catch it and study it like it showed them doing with a DarkLizardmon in one episode. They try to make up stories to cover up any digimon that are seen.

The first Hypnos program was called Yuggoth. It is easy to forget that one becasue it wasn't as talked about as the other Hypnos programs. Yuggoth was a deletion program. It semi-affected Renamon and Terriermon but had a greater affect on Guilmon. Parts of their body looked like they were being erased. Guilmon completely dissapeared. The tamers went down into the tunnel and entered all that fog. They saw Guilmon tangled up and were able to save him with hardly any time to spare.

Juggernaut was another Hypnos program. It was of course created by Yamaki. The basic idea of it was to create a huge portal that would suck all of the digimon into it and pull them into the Digital World. The Devas used this barrier to enter the real world. The system was crashed by Makuramon and Yamaki ended up fired. He did get his job back to shut Juggernaut down.

Operation Doodlebug was a Hypnos program to defeat the D-Reaper and return it to the Digital World. Without Henry's knowledge, Juggernaut was uploaded inside Terriermon. MegaGargomon had to go to the D-Reaper vortex and reverse it. That would change the D-Reaper back to its original harmless form. However, the program returned all of the digimon, including the Tamer's digimon, back to the Digital World.
