Digimon World

INFORMATION

Digimon World is the first digimon playstation game. It later became a Greatest Hit. The game starts off with a movie clip of two kids playing a Digi-Battling game. One of the kids is voiced by the Izzy voice actor obviously. A kid (the one you play as in the game) is transported to the digital world. Depending on what choice you choose reguarding whether to start playing at night or day on the game, you will get a Agumon or Gabumon. (Agumon if you choose day; Gabumon if you choose night.) You raise your digimon on File Island. You beat digimon in the hopes of them joining the city. Your first boss is against an Agumon. There is a Tsunomon that wants to rebuild a bridge. A Tanemon provides you with meat everyday. Other than that, you have to find mushrooms in the Digital World. The digimon digivolve after training. The digimon also die fast, so no time to waste. This game is rated T for Teen.

PERSONAL REVIEW

Digimon World was the first Playstation game I owned. I bought it after they stopped putting the holographic MetalGreymon card in it which made me very upset when I opened it. I was very young then though. I never beat the game. Some of my friends did. I liked it though. You aren't forced into fights at random, like Digimon World 3 and DS. The enemy digimon are actually there in location and you can battle them by approaching them.
